Welcome to Blue Sky Retreat and Bed & Breakfast at the historic San Geronimo Lodge in Taos.

Our chili-pepper shaped swimming pool is now open.  Since the use of public hot tubs is not yet allowed in NM, the hot tub is currently unavailable.

Our famous homemade breakfast buffet is back.  Come and try Marina’s exquisite cooking.

We are a historic adobe structure nearly 100 years old.  We do not have AC.  In Northern New Mexico, we simply open the windows at night, as the temperature drops down to 50’s overnight.

Thank you for supporting a local, family owned and operated business.

Sincerely,

Roger & Albina Rippy

WELCOME

Blue Sky Retreat Center at the Historic San Geronimo Lodge is a historic property that was built in 1925.

It is a signature New Mexico style adobe construction with a chili pepper-shaped swimming pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day), a hot tub (open year-round), a yoga yurt, a Native American sweat lodge, a meditation path, a garden and a labyrinth. It has been a farm house, a sanatorium, a boarding school and now a bed & breakfast and a retreat center that can host yoga, meditation, art retreats, company gatherings, weddings and family reunions.
We have 18 uniquely decorated rooms that vary from a cozy and romantic get-away for 2 with a warm and inviting fire place to larger rooms that can host a family of 6 or 7. Every room has its own full bathroom. Blue Sky Retreat Center and bed & breakfast has a spacious dining hall that can be a beautiful space for a wedding reception, a formal dinner for a large group of people, or an inviting space for a yoga retreat for 30-50.

A PLACE FOR TRYING SOMETHING NEW

Long one of America’s foremost, bona fide Art Colony’s, Taos is also home to a world-class ski resort (Taos Ski Valley), a World Heritage Site (Taos Pueblo), one of the most photographed and iconic churches (St. Francisco de Asis), and a majestic landscape encompassing the Rocky Mountains and the Rio Grande Gorge (and its eponymous bridge). Drawn by clean air and mythical light, visitors come to New Mexico’s Soul of the Southwest to experience rich spiritual traditions, fine art, distinctive cuisine, a thriving music scene, breath-taking outdoor activities ranging from exceptional hiking, world-class skiing, to white water rafting, mountain biking and climbing and of course, the raw, natural beauty of the landscape. Discover your place far away from the everyday in Taos, New Mexico.
